About Me...

I am currently a Ph.D. student at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the North Carolina State University. I completed my master's and bachelor's in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Moratuwa , Sri Lanka. I was a Research Intern at the Singapore University of Technology and Design where I was a member of the ASSET Research Group.

My research interests lie in DNA-based data storage and high performance computing. I have spent the past five years building fast tools and systems to process DNA efficiently. I have also contributed to building data structures for non-volatile memory.

I am also involved in the Graduate Student Association of the ECE department as the Vice President - External Affairs. When I am not working, I love to hike, cook, and spend time with my girlfriend.
